In light of my last post...

Petitions from 67 of Florida's counties were collected to have Kendrick Meek put on the ballot. What intrigues me about this is that as Meek nears 112,476 signatures, he will be the first statewide candidate to be put on the ballot by petition. He will also be the first senate candidate nationwide to have collected over 100,000 signatures to be placed on the ballot.

It looks like Meek generated a significant amount of support with grassroots logistics. In acknowledgment of spreading awareness across the state we can predict a higher turn out in the voting booths.

On the other end of the spectrum we have a poll from the PPP that says Rubio is ahead of Crist 60 to 28 percent. Luckily when I say on the other end of the spectrum I mean the polar end. Next to Marco Rubio, a pronounced tea party activist, a blue dog moderate may look like a wooly bearded man holding a sickle and a scythe.

How to sign a petition
