About

Leaflet Descending is based in Tallahassee Florida covering state and national politics in the media of written posts, comics, animated cartoons, video commentary and rally interviews. Leafletd was nominated for the Florida Netroots Coalition "Activist of the Year" and "Best Blog Post" awards in 2010.

"Blogger"

Being a blogger is an understatement; I built a green screen in my apartment, interviewed people who I assumed were packing heat, made Republican Senator Evelyn Lynn really, really uncomfortable and animated Rick Scott into a moving caricature that made a ten year old boy admit he was afraid. Blogging is a moral imperative.

But, why?

After moving to Florida in 2008,  I began to notice... things; a governor with such a blinding tan that his origin is just as ambiguous as his stance on issues, state workers that think their own jobs shouldn't exist - and that our capitol is a silhouette of what could be a colossal erection. I am not kidding, Google it.

Up the Blogs!

The next step is educating Bloggers in new forms of media like interviewing, time-line editing, sound and yes, animation. Bringing autonomy to these new levels of media production can become a breakthrough in captivating audiences that might otherwise have thought a blog was some kind of mystery meat. Mmmm, blog sandwich.
